AI Won’t Save You

Every startup pitch now boils down to: “We slapped AI on it, please give us money.” Doesn’t matter what the problem is — they’ll shove a chatbot, image generator, or “co-pilot” at it and call it innovation.

Newsflash: AI isn’t magic. It’s just pattern-matching on steroids. It doesn’t “understand” anything. It just spits out the most statistically likely word or pixel. Useful? Sure. Revolutionary? Not in the way they sell it.

People keep acting like AI will “save” them from hard work. No. It’ll just generate mediocre drafts faster. If you couldn’t write a good email before, guess what — AI won’t fix that. You’ll just have bad emails, quicker.

The savior narrative is bullshit. AI is a tool, not a messiah.
