No-AI is a Luxury
Every single day, you see another app has adopted AI—most of them don’t even need it. On top of that, people are pushing endless AI slop on every platform imaginable. I’m fortunate enough that I hardly use any social media platforms, but I’ve still seen people—especially kids—overwhelming themselves with slop. Some people have already started feeling the need to selectively look for human-generated content—they’re tired of AI-generated voiceovers and choppily put-together Sora or Veo videos.
Writing is also one such avenue where AI-generated content has flooded the internet. I can imagine a near future where “No-AI” things are considered a luxury. People have already started becoming lazier—myself included. I’ve gotten into the habit of using Perplexity instead of manually researching things.
So yeah, I can definitely see manual labor and human-made content turning into a premium commodity.
