There was a time when I could write decently. Now I can't write a single paragraph without making any mistakes. In one of my previous posts, I talked about learning grammar. Well, I did that for a few days, and then never got back to it.
So I have been using Quillbot's grammar check and ProWritingAid's grammar check tools. Both on their free versions. And maybe that's the reason why I'm very lenient about editing on my own and improving my grammar. I write by making however many mistakes I want to, and then check it with a grammar checker tool and move on with it. Bandaid fix.
And you can't improve this way. It's like never taking the training wheels off of your bicycle. So, I'm taking the training wheels off now. From now on, I will post whatever I write. And stop using a grammar checker altogether. Maybe it will shame me into actually putting some effort into editing and learning grammar.
It's not like I always use a grammar checker, there are still a lot of posts for which I have not used any grammar checker tool, but this time I'm implementing it as a general rule of thumb for all my writings. Let all people see how bad I'm at grammar.
