In first half of last month, July, I watched two horror movies. Obsession. And, Backrooms.
Horror is not something that I like to watch. If I were to pick a genre of movies that I like, horror would be my last pick. But I chose these two movies for the only reason that these two movies were made by people whom I have been watching on YouTube.
Ironlung was also on my list but I didn't like the trailer that much.
Backrooms. Well, it was an okayish movie. Having watched this whole Backrooms thing on the YouTube for many years, the movie felt very shallow. I didn't like it.
Obsession. A decent movie. I liked it. I couldn't find horror in it. Only comedy and some disgust here and there. Another thing I felt was that the cinematography was more like their YouTube videos, but overall it was a good movie.
Will I watch any more horror movies? I don't know. I think I have a type in horror. Although I try to avoid horror movies if that's possible but I have watched movies such as Se7en without knowing that they are also horror. And I like that movie.
But there are movies probably like Annabelle, or It series, or maybe Wrong Turn series and Final Destination series that I will never watch. But on the other hand I am okay with movies such as Backrooms and Obsession.
I don't know how to define it but this is my kinda horror.
